The hotel opened in 1957 in Praiano, at the time, an old fishing village. From its panoramic terraces, in addition to gazing upon the splendour of Li Galli islands, guests can also admire the enchanting view of Positano as well as captivating Capri with its Faraglioni.

All rooms overlook the sea and are served by a lift and have private bathroom, heating and air-conditioning system, telephone, TV and terrace.

The Hotel also has a parking lot with an automatic gate, where you can safely park your car. An excellent restaurant, specializing in local dishes, overlooks the bay of Positano and Capri.

It is close to the steps that take you down to the beach in Praiano.Our terrace, which overlooks the sea, has one of the most magnificent views of the world: Positano, Capri and its Faraglioni. Positano, famous all over the world for its clothing fashion, is reachable by car with local drivers hired for you by us. The town is also a pleasant ferry ride away.

In this hotel you will find a nice, floral garden, a lobby, and lounge bar. The restaurant serves regional specialities, created using only the finest, local ingredients.

The majority of the guest rooms at the Smeraldo Hotel have been refurbished and come with handmade Vietri tiles. Some rooms have a private balcony and even a hot tub.
